One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a UX leader is that design doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s all about the magic that happens when developers, product owners, and architects put their “designer hats” on and work together. Everyone brings something different to the table and when the team gets involved early, ideas flow freely, and the end result is a solution that feels more like a team win than just a designer's solo project.
UX is a Strategic Discipline
UX design is much more than just pretty interfaces; it’s a strategic tool to drive business success. I see UX leaders are the GPS - guiding decisions, steering the ship, and making sure we’re heading in the right direction. I’m all about creating a strong UX vision that aligns with the bigger picture. When your team is empowered to take ownership and contribute to the business strategy, that’s when the real magic happens.

Hi, I’m Maciej.
With over 15 years in UX and design leadership, I specialize in building strong design teams, scaling UX practices, and creating products used by millions. I’ve led key initiatives that shaped product and org strategy across several industries.
At Autodesk, I managed UX for 3D and VFX tools, improving workflows for artists and production teams while helping embed UX best practices company-wide. Before that, I led UX at KAR Global’s Openlane, building two design systems and driving standards for a $40B virtual auto auction platform.
Earlier in my career, I led eCommerce design at French Connection, where I drove a major mobile/web redesign and helped boost online sales by 60%.
I’m all about solving complex problems with user-centered design and aligning strategy with business goals. I love empowering teams, building systems that scale, and creating meaningful, impactful products.

Outside of work
I’m all about finding balance between work and relaxation.
I have a great passion for wood working , building and design. 2 years ago I invested into a space on the Bruce Peninsula and began using my contracting knowledge of building a Nordic style cottage on the Bruce Peninusula. Givng individuals a chance to disconnect from their devices and surround themselves with nature and relaxation. It has been an incredible project and a massive success
